Utilities · Electrical planner

Plan your boat's electrical system.

A browser-based planner for a battery bank, its loads, and its charging sources — modelled against a simulated passage so you can see how the numbers hold up before you buy anything. I built it to plan my own boat's electrical rebuild.

What it does

Battery, loads, and charging — on one simulated passage.

Battery bank

Model the house bank's capacity and see how it draws down against the loads you add.

Loads

Add the equipment that draws from the bank — instruments, refrigeration, autopilot, whatever the boat actually runs.

Charging

Solar, alternator, and other charge sources, weighed against the draw over a simulated passage rather than a static spreadsheet.

Open it here for a sandbox passage. Add your own boat to a 32°N account and it plans against your boat's real systems instead.

Why it's separate

Built before the platform existed.

This isn't a feature gated behind a 32°N account — it's the tool I used to plan my own boat's electrical rebuild. It happens to now run on the same simulated data bus as everything else I'm building, but you can open it and use it on its own.
